Use Caution When Harvesting Flooded Grain

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship again reminds farmers that grain impacted by river flooding may be considered adulterated by the Food and Drug Administration. Grain that has been determined to be adulterated cannot be used for feed or food.

The funding will be used toward the cost of doing landscaping around a veterans memorial in Orange City, which was constructed several years ago and features the names of many local veterans from World War II to present day.
