18 Awarded Scholarships from Ag Partners & Alceco

Ag Partners and Alceco are pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Ag Partners and Alceco FFA Scholarship.

Each year, Ag Partners and Alceco offer an FFA scholarship to one high school senior from each FFA chapter in the Ag Partners trade area. Winners are determined by total points based on the career of the FFA participant and participation in four major areas: Supervised agricultural experience projects, community service projects, the local chapter’s cooperative activities and leadership activities.


The winners of the $500 scholarship are:

Nelson Findling – Clay Central Everly High School

Sidney Hilsabeck – Alta-Aurelia High School

Danika Tindall – Akron-Westfield High School

Brooke Erdman – Spencer High School

Tristan Haag- Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn High School

Brandon Neyens – Le Mars High School

Carli Grau – Newell-Fonda High School

Travis Te Grotenhuis – MOC-Floyd Valley High School

Kaysha Steiger – Western Christian High School

William Rupnow – East Sac County High School

Erin Miedema – Unity Christian High School

Sydney Vanderhoff – Sioux Central High School

Bailey Vainreb – Pocahontas Area High School

Anna Sells – South O’Brien High School

Haley Wagenaar – Sheldon High School


Two overall point winners – one from Ag Partners’ east region and one from Ag Partners’ west region – will receive $1,000 scholarships. Those two students are:

Keaton Koerselman – Le Mars High School
